For the experienced kayaker we provide rentals allowing you to explore the La Jolla Ecological Reserve at your own pace. Our staff will transport your kayak to and from the beach.

Rental includes: kayak, mandatory safety training session (5 minutes in duration), personal floatation device (PFD), backrest, and paddle.

Ages 6+ for tandem kayak (with adult), 15+ for single kayak

Weight restrictions 450 lbs. for a tandem kayak and 275 lbs. for a single kayak

Explore La Jolla Cove or La Jolla Shores at your own pace! See spectacular underwater rock formations, lush plant life, bright orange garibaldi, sea cucumbers, anemones, and sea stars!

We recommend all renters be comfortable swimmers.
