Snorkeling in La Jolla is phenomenal and something we think everyone in San Diego from should experience. Whether you swim through the harmless leopard shark breeding ground or cruise with garibaldi fish and sea lions in La Jolla Cove Ecological Reserve, exploring this underwater world is a must! Our friendly staff is made up of certified guides in the area who are happy to help you find the best location for your adventure. Not every day in La Jolla is ideal for snorkeling, so feel free to call ahead and check in with us about the conditions. PLEASE NOTE: snorkel gear is available late spring-early fall only.

Ages and Participant Requirements: Ages 10 and up, depending on location and conditions. Must be able to swim. A basic-moderate level of physical ability is needed for snorkeling. La Jolla conditions vary dramatically, so it's a good idea to call ahead to confirm that it is a good day to go out.
What to Expect: Snorkeling conditions vary in San Diego; some days it is calm with tiny waves and great visibility, while other days bring strong currents and poor visibility. Water temperature also varies between 65-80 degrees. Our staff has years of experience snorkeling in San Diego, so call us or come by and we'll make sure you have the best experience possible.
