Sunset Kayak Tour at La Jolla Shores
Paddle from La Jolla Shores through the ecological reserve, along the La Jolla Sea Caves and into the sunset. San Diego is known for its beautiful sunsets and experiencing the rich colors by kayak provides a serene and intimate setting to make your evening one you will never forget.
Alongside your expert naturalist guide, you'll have a chance to see sea lions, seals, dolphins, an array of sea birds and fish, and even a gray whale spouting off in the distance during the right season. This tour is a must for anyone looking to get the ultimate San Diego experience.
This is one of the premier eco tourism experiences in San Diego, and no one has better guides to help you explore the natural wonder of the area than Hike Bike Kayak. We'll launch from La Jolla Shores, kayak through the incredible rock formations and caves (if conditions permit), through the expansive kelp forests and out to the ocean for what is sure to be a stunnning sunset. We'll cap it all off with a kayak surf ride back to the beach. Every season offers a new setting to get to know and San Diego's mild year round climate makes kayaking a great activity any time of year.
Our friendly and accommodating guides are expert naturalists with backgrounds in marine biology, ecology, environmental science, photography, and outdoor recreation.
Additionally, Our guides hold advanced certifications in kayaking instruction, outdoor leadership, wildlife education, and CPR/First Aid.
