You'll cruise along San Diego's waterfront, through the historic Gaslamp District, and spend time in the lesser-known, up-and-coming East Village area with our knowledgeable guides. Coast along the gentle bike paths, marveling at the city skyline and gorgeous views of San Diego Bay, Coronado Island, Shelter Island and the Embarcadero. It's a a fun, exciting, and active way to tour the city.
The entire tour is 2 hours long, and by the end you're sure to have an new-found appreciation for this city we're proud to call home. Our guides that lead this tour are trained as historians as well as naturalists, and are well versed in local culture to help you make the most of your ride.

What is Provided: Multi-speed hybrid-type bicycle, helmet, water, snacks, and guide.
What to Bring: Comfortable shirt and shorts (pants as needed). Jacket, windbreaker or sweatshirt as required. Closed-toe shoes (sandals and flip-flops not recommended). Sunscreen. Optional: small daypack, camera.
Ages and Participant Requirements: Ages 13 and up. (For groups and families with children 13 or younger, we recommend our Mission Bay bike tour, in which the riding is done mainly on bike paths around Mission Bay with only one hill. We offer trail-a-bikes and bike trailers for little ones).
What to Expect and Start Location: The pace is not strenuous, but expect to do some pedaling over a few short hills. The riding on this tour is all on bike lanes on roads. The tour is approximately 6-10 miles depending on abilities and takes place on bike paths, bike lanes, and roads. The tour is mostly flat, with a few hills (that can be walked up).
